IGSB Hosted and organised "Vyavahar" a dynamic game, which challenged the students to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship and make strategic decisions to grow virtual businesses. From managing retail stores and real estate to offering educational courses students lived different sectors.

The experience facilitated by Team IIMP gave IGSB Students invaluable insights into the real-world business environment and reinforced the importance of adaptability, leadership, and teamwork!

The business plan competition was organized by Domain Club of IGSB for MBA I students with main intention of developing their entrepreneurial skills. Total 19 groups of MBA I participated in the competition and presented their new business ideas. The business ideas found new and unique. The competition was evaluated by eminent IGSB faculties. Out of 19, the top 9 groups were shortlisted for the second round. The winners in the second round shall get the opportunity to participate in the upcoming event Indiapreneur in March 2025.

IGSB students explored the world of manufacturing excellence during an insightful industrial visit to Kalyani Maxion Wheels, Chakan.

From soul-stirring performances in dance, music, and drama to jaw-dropping artistic displays, Splash was a kaleidoscope of talent and energy. The event wasn’t just about showcasing skills; it was about building connections, breaking barriers, and reviling in the rich tapestry of cultures that make our campus so unique.

On October 26, 2024, the Book Badshah - Thought Provoking Book Olympiad was organized at Indira Global School of Business (IGSB) to inspire students to explore more about literature. Aimed at developing students' critical thinking and presentation skills, the event centered around book reviews and thought-provoking discussions.

The book reviews were presented on October 21, 2024, with the competition evaluated by esteemed faculty members of IGSB. Recognizing students' dedication, the prize distribution ceremony was held on October 26, awarding top-performing groups and acknowledging the efforts of all participants with certificates.

The event featured Ms. Aparna Sharma—a bestselling author, HR leader, and corporate board director—as the chief guest. She launched three books during the event, aiming to foster a reading culture among students. In her engaging 90-minute session, Ms. Sharma shared insights from her life and career, underscoring the importance of lifelong learning, adaptability, and resilience. Her stories left a strong impact, giving students practical lessons for both personal and professional growth. The event was a valuable experience for the students, encouraging a culture of reading and self-development.

A session on "Chai Pe Charcha" (Alumini Interaction programme) was conducted with Mr. Devesh Maheshwari, an alumni of Indira Global School of Business 2017-19 to provide insights into the vast array of professional avenues and leading students of IGSB towards entrepreneurial success. The session aimed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s growth, emerging trends, and the skill sets required to thrive in their lives.

The session with Mr. Devesh Maheshwari was an insightful interaction for the students as well as the faculty. The speaker gave detailed insights on starting a business from scratch, taking risks, and emphasized on having a clear set of goals in mind. He also dwelled on his fond memories of being a part of Indira Global School of Business. He encouraged the students with his wisdom acquired over the years on international trade and exports.

This particular Conference was organized at IGSB with motive of promoting the students for the research activity. The conference got fabulous response of 35 students who participated and presented their research papers on the given theme “Fintech for Inclusivity and Sustainability”.

The inauguration of conference was done from the hands of CMA Sagar Malpure- the Chairperson, ICMAI, PCA Chapter. The speeches of Prof.Chetan Wakalkar (Academic Advisor- IGI and Dr.Virendra Tatake (Director- IGSB) added valuable inputs to the audience. The speakers showcased different dimensions of the area Fintech. The program was quite successful with its new theme and tremendous response of students.

We had the privilege of hosting a full day workshop by Prof. Chetan Wakalkar on 'Corporate Yodha - Unleashing the Power of Qu in You.' The session delved deep into the importance of emotional intelligence, creative quotient, digital skills, mental resilience, and strategic thinking in the corporate world. Prof. Chetan Wakalkar's unique approach provided students of MBA Batch 2024-26 with practical tools to harness their inner strength and overcome challenges in the workplace. It was an enriching experience that left the students feeling empowered and ready to conquer the corporate battlefield!

An enlightening session by Adv. Shalini Sharma on Gender Sensitisation and PoSH Orientation conducted on 24th Jan 2025, left the students of IGSB inspired and informed!

This interactive workshop emphasized the importance of creating inclusive workplaces and fostering respectful professional environments. Together, we are shaping future leaders who value equality, safety, and mutual respect.

IGSB Artha Bodh forum in collaboration with its professional partner NISM, has successfully conducted informative and interactive sessions for students on 25th Jan 2025.

It empowered students with knowledge of security market and placement and business opportunities associated with it.

Mr. Ravi Ahuja, SEBI Certified Securities Market Trainer and Programme Coordinator- Skill Development Centre, SPPU made students aware with the unexplored work avenues associated with security markets. Whereas Mr. Vikram Limaye, Former Managing Director and CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and IDFC enlightened students about the transactions taking place through security market. We thank our esteemed speakers for today's session from the bottom of our heart and for helping us to empower our students for Viksit Bharat.

IGSB was honored to host Mr. Chandrashekhar Tilak, Retired Executive Vice President of NSDL Group, who shared his expertise and deep analysis of the Union Budget 2025 on 8th Feb 2025. The session was packed with key takeaways and practical insights, leaving our students and faculty enriched with a better understanding of its implications.

The event concluded with the Union Budget Quiz Competition prize distribution, celebrating the sharp minds who excelled in analyzing budgetary concepts.

On 24 Feb 2025, IGSB students explored the future of smart manufacturing at C4I4 Lab, SPPU, gaining hands-on experience in Industry 4.0 technologies! From automation to AI-driven solutions, this orientation provided valuable insights into the next era of industrial innovation.
