Indira Global School of Business (IGSB) celebrated Pre-Diwali with great enthusiasm, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to embrace the festive spirit of unity, joy, and tradition.

The celebration featured a vibrant ramp walk by students and faculty members, showcasing the elegance and richness of traditional Indian attire. The event was further enlivened with soulful musical performances and energetic dance acts that created a lively and festive atmosphere across the campus.

The celebration reflected IGSB's commitment to fostering cultural values, strengthening interpersonal bonds, and creating memorable experiences beyond academics. Through such events, the institute continues to encourage holistic development while celebrating India's rich heritage and traditions.

The Pre-Diwali celebration concluded on a cheerful note, leaving everyone with cherished memories and the true essence of togetherness that defines the IGSB community.

Students gained invaluable insights into timeless leadership and management principles from the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj during an enlightening session by Dr. Ajit Apte, Secretary, Maharaja Pratishthan Trust, Pune.

The session, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Management: Lessons from His Life”, beautifully connected historical wisdom with modern management practices—igniting a spirit of courage, strategy, and visionary leadership among our students.

A day of learning beyond the classroom! IGSB 1st Year MBA students explored real-time industrial excellence during their visit to Güdel India Pvt. Ltd., gaining valuable insights into advanced automation, robotics, and modern manufacturing practices.

IGSB hosted the exciting JUGAD Competition, evaluated by Dr. Rajesh N. Pahurkar, Head of Department, PUMBA, Savitribai Phule Pune University. Students showcased brilliant, out-of-the-box ideas that highlighted creativity and problem-solving.

Dr. Rajesh also conducted an interactive guest session on “Being Entrepreneurial – Way of Life,” sharing valuable academic and industry perspectives that enriched students’ learning.

Our esteemed alumni — Mr Hans Daryani, Mr Vishal Garje, and Ms Reshmi Bagchi — engaged with MBA 1st-Year students in an inspiring Alumni Panel Discussion, sharing real-world experiences, career wisdom, and industry-ready guidance.

Promoting health, hygiene, and empowerment! The Institute Social Responsibility (ISR) Committee, IGSB, in collaboration with Naree Care Services, successfully organised a Women’s Hygiene & Sanitation Awareness Session, focusing on menstrual hygiene, safe disposal practices, and strengthening wellbeing among female students.

The session included a demonstration for all students, staff, and housekeeping personnel, while the interaction and doubt-clearance segment was specifically conducted for female students, making it highly engaging and informative for the target audience.

The C-Suite: A Day of Leadership, Learning, and Legacy at Indira College of Engineering and Management and Indira Global School of Business, where student teams built corporate foundations, presented strategic visions in a rigorous boardroom-style review, and were recognized for exceptional executive leadership across key CXO roles.

Indira Global School of Business (IGSB) successfully conducted the Student Welfare Council elections, providing students with an opportunity to actively participate in the democratic process and contribute to campus leadership.

The elections served as a platform for students to exercise their right to vote, select their representatives, and take an active role in shaping a vibrant and inclusive campus community. With enthusiastic participation from both candidates and voters, the event reflected the values of responsibility, leadership, and collaboration that are integral to the IGSB learning environment.

By encouraging students to engage in decision-making and leadership roles, IGSB continues to nurture future business leaders who understand the importance of accountability, teamwork, and community building. The Student Welfare Council plays a vital role in representing student interests, organizing campus initiatives, and fostering a culture of participation and mutual growth.

The successful conduct of the elections reaffirmed IGSB's commitment to developing socially responsible and proactive leaders who are prepared to make meaningful contributions both within the institute and beyond.

Indira Global School of Business successfully hosted an inspiring Startup Talk Series – Conversations with Young Entrepreneurs, giving students a real-world perspective on innovation, product development, and business growth.

Valuable insights came from industry experts Mr. Om Laddha, Managing Partner, Om Atharva Industries, and Mr. Dhruv Dandekar, New Product Development Manager, Pratham Technologies.

Students explored the journey from ideas to execution, learning how passion, persistence, and practical thinking shape successful startups. A session that didn’t just inform — it inspired future founders!
