The Book Badshah - Thought Provoking Book Olympiad was held on October 26, 2024, at Indira Global School of Business (IGSB), with the goal of inspiring students to engage more deeply with literature.
The event encouraged students to build critical thinking and presentation skills through book reviews and engaging discussions.
The students presented book review on October 21, 2024, and judged by esteemed faculty members of IGSB. To celebrate the students’ hard work, the prize distribution ceremony took place on October 26, honouring the top-performing groups and recognizing the participation of all students with certificates.
Ms. Aparna Sharma, a distinguished author of bestselling books, HR leader, and independent director on corporate boards, was the chief guest. During the event, she launched three books, hoping to motivate students to develop a reading habit. In her 90-minute session, Ms. Sharma shared her personal and professional experiences, highlighting the importance of lifelong learning, adaptability, and resilience. Her relatable stories and insights left a lasting impact on the students, offering them practical lessons for both their careers and personal lives.
The event was a memorable learning opportunity, fostering a culture of reading and self-improvement among the students.

The FDP was organized for the IGSB faculty, on the topic Research Policy. Dr.Amruta Deshpande, the Research Head of ISBS, was the expert speaker of FDP.
In her session, Dr.Deshpande, thrown light on several micro aspects related to the research such as How to identify right journal for research paper?, Researcher’s mindset, The way of writing the research paper etc. Dr.Deshpande also gave valuable insight about some technical aspects of research like ISSN Portal- How to confirm the validity of research paper on Portal?, Scopus and its use, How to use the Google Scholar and the way to search top research papers on google research.
The FDP was very effective and informative. It offered the exact idea of research in the minds of faculty.
FDP on Effective Integration of Pedagogy and Technology in association with IIT Bombay 27th & 28th April 2024.
FDP on Effective Integration of Pedagogy and Technology in association with IIT Bombay was conducted on 27th & 28th April 2024 by Dr Shridhar Iyer which primarily focused on Effective teaching with visualizations, Generative AI for teaching and research, Muddy points like Clarification, Core, Deep points, Advanced points, Technical skills, off topic points which will help the faculties to interact and teach the topic effectively to the students.
SIP an important aspect in the life of an MBA student, Mr. Shantanu Sen Sharma, Chairman - YUGMA interacted with the students of IGSB on the Do’s and Don’t’s of SIP and ensuring successful completion of the Project.
IGSB organized 1-day FDP program on Overview of NBA, OBE & BLOOMS TAXONOMY on 28th March 2024.
The course was delivered by Dr. Pallavi Sajanapwar, starting with basics of deep understanding of NBA, OBE overview to faculty members. The sessions were really interactive. Outcome based education policy and information related CO.PO, PSE, PEO introduced from its core. The history, evolution, various tools which are available for OBE and BLOOMS TAXONOMY were discussed.
IGSB's IQAC organized a one-day FDP on "Sectorial and Industry Analysis using Strategic models" for all Faculty members.

IGSB HR Club initiated a very innovative team engagement activity for International Women Day by recognizing the contribution
and efforts made by women faculty and staff to inspire and to boost their morale on 7th March 2024.IGSB strongly agrees that our country believes woman as the engine of growth and it is committed to advance the rise of women nationally and globally.

In our pursuit to build industry-oriented business leaders, Indira Global School of Business organized a two-day workshop
