Shree Chanakya Education Society’s Indira Global School of Business has organised a "Meri Maati Mera Desh" program on August 15,2023, after the flag hoisting ceremony for Independence day.

Objective of Program: -"Meri Maati Mera Desh" campaign is envisaged from 9th August 2023 as a culminating event of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava’. It is tribute to the Veers and Viranganas who have made the supreme sacrifice for the country. "Meri Maati Mera Desh" envisions a unified celebration of India's soil and valour, commemorating the nation's journey of freedom and progress. By connecting with the land and honoring our heroes, this program will instill a sense of national pride and inspire future generations to protect India's cherished heritage.

Content of the Event: - On 15th August 2023, All the faculty memebers, Staff and Students were present with Mr. Aadesh Gaikawad (trustee IGI), Dr. Virendra tatake (Director IGSB) and Dr. Sunil Ingole (Principal ICEM) for Independence Day Celebration. The Program was started with Hoisting of the National Flag and singing of Rashtragaan. It was followed by taking a solemn pledge covering Panch Pran of the Hon'ble Prime Minister, affirming their commitment to the country. During the ceremony, everyone was encouraged to either individually or collectively take a selfie while taking the pledge with soil in the hand and same is being uploaded to the dedicated website https://yuva.gov.in

Report on : Know your River

Under different initiatives taken under “ 75 Years of Independence” Maharashtra Government started one initiative.“ Let us know our river”.

This is a unique initiative about organizing dialog for spreading awareness about our rivers.

IGSB first year student Bhargavi Vyavahare and Sonali Kesari gave presentation on two different rivers. For this presentation they used very unique format of presenting themselves as a river.

Bhargavi Vyavhare presented river Godavari, and Sonali Kesari presented river Pavana. Detail information about these rivers like their origin, natural habitat, their current condition, any mythological connection was given in this session.

This session helped students to know their rivers and it was an eye-opener for all as majority of these rivers are facing pollution problems. It also made us aware about our duties for conservation of these resources.

Report on : Life style for environment

Under G20-3rd Energy Transition Working Group (Life style for environment) an initiative undertaken by DTE- Directorate of Technical Education, Pune, Indira Global School of Business organized an online E-poster/ E-Article or E-essay Competition on 18th May 2023. This event was a wonderful opportunity for students to express their thoughts about environment friendly lifestyle,with Enclosed video.

National Technology Day Celebration at IGSB

Glimpses of Celebration of National Technology Day at IGSB on 11 May 2023. Wonderful showcase of Technology use in real life was presented by students on MBA 1st year through their live skit performances.

Rejuvenation

IGSB initiated “Rejuvenation” a counselling orientation session by Ms. Manik Bhadkamkar, Clinical Psychologist for all the MBA students on Monday, 17th April at 10.30 am. To maintain mental and emotional hygiene in a highly competitive environment, it is important to have a safe space to discuss our area of concern, recognizing this sensitive need of our students a session was organized for addressing Mental health concerns by the expert at IGSB, Parandwadi, Pune.

Event : Virtual Parent Meet

SCESs, Indira Global School of Business , organized a Virtual Parent Meet on 4th April 2023. As an expression of love and gratitude to dear Parents of our beloved students for fostering faith and confidence in the brand Indira.

This Meet was organized as a part of the academic review activity, where Parents were oriented about Curricular, Co-Curricular, Extra Curricular, Placement Grooming activities like CLDP undertaken at IGSB for holistic development of students and making them professionally competent for successful professional career and life.

The parents felt so happy with the initiative of conducting the Meet and appreciated the efforts of the Management, Faculty members and Staff of IGSB.

The meeting concluded on a very positive note with smiling and emotional, assured faces of Parents and promise from IGSB, to continue with all the great and innovative teaching methodologies being adopted so that the students are benefited in all realms with the best of the possibilities and to grow and evolve in order to achieve new heights in the life.
